Position Summary

Autumn’s Gift is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and highly responsible Special Needs Lead Caregiver to support, help plan, and lead Saturday community-based outings.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can provide direct care while also helping coordinate outing details, support caregivers, communicate professionally, and make sound decisions during program activities.

The ideal candidate is respectful, reliable, organized, calm under pressure, and confident solving problems when plans change. This role requires someone who understands that leadership means showing up prepared, communicating clearly, protecting the safety and dignity of members, and representing Autumn’s Gift with professionalism at all times.

Key Responsibilities

The Saturday Program Lead is responsible for

  • Planning weekly outing details, including activity flow, timing, transportation needs, admission details, meal plans, weather considerations, and backup options.
  • Reviewing outing expectations before program day and helping ensure the day runs smoothly.
  • Supporting members during community-based, recreational, outdoor, or activity-based experiences.
