Activity Director - Certified Nursing Assistant

Aidan Senior Living at Reedsport has an opening on our interdisciplinary team. This position is crucial to ensure the wellbeing of our residents, and this candidate will maintain a critical role on our small management team.

Responsibilities

· MDS assessments upon admission and quarterly

· Implement an engaging activity program that is individualized and document resident engagement

· Plan resident and staff events

· Assist C.N.A’s in getting residents up for activities (if certified)

· Monitor resident trust funds and assist residents with shopping

· Complete menus for residents every week

· Be the safety representative for Aidan

Education

· Staff will need to complete the activity director course and cognitive stimulation course

· Staff will need to complete a CNA course if they are not already certified

Management Responsibilities

· Once the staff has been able to demonstrate competencies in their position, the staff will begin participating in the management on-call rotation

· Staff may be pulled to the floor if needed to cover critical C.N.A shifts

NOTE: Wage posted is for applicants who maintain a current Oregon CNA liscense.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $22.50 per hour
