The primary function of the Adult Day Care (ADC) Aide is to provide your assigned registrants with routine daily care in accordance with our established care procedures as may be directed by your supervisor.* Completing and performing your assigned tasks, must report any abnormal findings to the ADC Coordinator or designee. * Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with the established policies and procedures and as instructed by your supervisor. * Notify the facility when you will be late or absent from work as well as the ADC Coordinator. * Report all complaints and grievances made by the registrant or registrant's family members. * Cooperate with interdepartmental personnel, as well as other facility personnel to assure that services can be adequately maintained to meet the needs of the registrants. * Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as common environment throughout your assigned shift. * Participate in and receive a report upon reporting for duty. * Perform those nursing functions as assigned by the ADC Coordinator. * Report to duty on time and in proper attire. * Practice proper infection control techniques. * Complete assignments by end of shift. * Attend to registrant's needs promptly * Assist other Adult Day Care personnel as needed. * Maintain a safe and clean environment for all registrants assigned to your care. * Demonstrate the basic techniques of rehabilitation.
