Caregiver

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable and compassionate Caregivers to support children within a structured care program. Staff work under the supervision of the Program Manager to assist with daily routines, health needs, and transportation to services. The caregiver helps maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment while ensuring children’s routines and care plans are followed consistently. This role focuses on practical daily support rather than clinical therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and support.
• Assist with life skills and community outings.
• Transport residents to appointments and activities.
• Follow ISP/PBSP guidelines.
• Complete daily documentation and ensure residents' health and safety.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass background check
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to administer medications after training
• Ability to perform light cleaning and food preparation
• Reliable attendance and ability to follow supervision and direction
• Minimum 2 years of caregiving experience.
• Experience working with children with I/DD.

Supervision & Work Environment

• Reports directly to the Program Manager
• Works as part of a team within a licensed child service program
• Structured routines, scheduled shifts, and documentation requirements required

Pay: $21.00 per hour
