Responsibilities

• Provide attentive supervision and care for children and adults of different age
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social interaction.
• Ensure the safety of children by adhering to childhood development best practices and mandated reporting laws.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their clients progress, behavior, and any concerns.
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, dressing, nap times, and hygiene practices.
• Apply behavior management techniques to foster positive behavior and emotional well-being.
• Maintain a clean, organized environment that supports developmental activities and safety standards.

Skills

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities and understanding their unique needs.
• Proven experience caring children and adults
• Ability to plan engaging activities tailored to children's and adult's interests and developmental stages.
• First aid certification and CPR training to respond effectively in emergencies.
• Excellent communication skills for parent updates and team collaboration.
• Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to safety and protection laws.
• Experience managing behavior issues with patience and effective techniques.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
