BlackScrubs Support provides support to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. We are dedicated to helping our clients live more independently by offering daily support and working toward meaningful, personalized goals. We are currently seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers to join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring client safety while supporting daily routines and activities such as hygiene, cleaning, errands, and more. Caregivers also play a vital role in helping clients build life skills, improve social interactions, and stay on track with their personal goals and routines. If you are not okay with driving or don’t have a vehicle, this position is NOT for you. If you're passionate about making a difference in someone's life, we’d love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

* Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing * Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises * Prepare meals and snacks * Light housekeeping activities * Dispense medication * Provide companionship * Assist with errands and shopping * DRIVING - Provide transportation to appointments, community activities, and shopping. (If you are not okay with frequent driving, this role is not for you).

Qualifications

* Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION won’t work for this position. * Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills * Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines * Excellent communication and interpersonal spills * Ability to lift heaving objects * Compassionate, respectful, ethical
