Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Caregiver to provide dedicated support and nurturing care to seniors requiring in-home assistance. In this vital role, you will create a safe, comfortable, and positive environment that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being for elderly clients throughout Los Angeles County and the San Fernando Valley. Duties

• Provide attentive personal care for clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote engagement, mental stimulation, and social interaction
• Supervise clients during daily activities, meals, and outings to ensure safety at all times
• Communicate regularly with family members about their loved one's progress, behavior, and daily activities
• Assist with basic care routines such as feeding, mobility support, transfers, and medication reminders
• Follow mandated reporting laws by promptly reporting any concerns related to client safety or well-being
• Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to clients' comfort and health
• Document daily care activities and maintain accurate activity logs
• Observe and report changes in client condition to family members and supervisors

Skills

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued
• Demonstrated experience caring for seniors in home care, assisted living, skilled nursing, or hospital settings
• Strong knowledge of elderly care principles and activities of daily living (ADL) assistance
• Ability to plan engaging activities tailored to individual client needs and abilities
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly valued
• HHA (Home Health Aide) or HCA (Home Care Aide) certification strongly preferred
• Excellent communication skills for effective family interaction and team collaboration
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques to foster positive engagement with clients
• Experience in home care settings, companion care, post-operative care, or dementia/Alzheimer's care enhances suitability for this role
• Physical ability to assist with transfers, mobility, and lifting (up to 50 lbs with assistance)
• Valid government-issued photo identification and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass LiveScan fingerprinting background check
• Current TB test (within the last 12 months)
