As a Caregiver at Westhaven Assisted Living, you will assist residents with daily living activities while promoting dignity, independence, and comfort. You’ll provide hands-on support, respond to resident needs, and collaborate with the care team to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a genuine heart for serving seniors.

Position Type: Full- Time and Part-Time

Shift Available

Days: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm (Part-Time)

Days: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm (Full-Time)

Wage Range

$16 - $18 /hour depending on experience

Caregiver Responsibilities

* Provide residents with desired services in a caring, safe and timely manner. * Provide redirection, reassurance, emotional and psychological support to residents and family members. * Assist residents with personal care with dignity and grace. * Document services performed on computerized charting system. * Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor. * Perform additional tasks as needed.

Caregiver Qualifications

* High School Diploma or Equivalent required. * Prior experience preferred, but will train. * Must be 18 years or older to apply. * Strong communication and customer service skills. * Clear documentation skills. * Ability to maintain confidential information
