Caregiver Responsibilities

Caregivers at Charis Hearts provide non-medical in-home and/or community care based on the Client Service Plan. Responsibilities may include:

* Client Support & Care

Perform client wellness checks to ensure their well-being. + Assist clients with completing admission documents as needed. + Help train other caregivers on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) in the client's home. + Provide non-medical support to agency service recipients. * Compliance & Documentation

Be familiar with and follow all rules, policies, and procedures related to service delivery. + Submit all required documentation accurately and on time. + Adhere to the individual service plan for each recipient. + Maintain strict confidentiality of all client records and information unless authorized by written consent. * Safety & Reporting

Immediately report

any incidents of injury involving the service recipient or yourself to your supervisor. + Report any suspected abuse or neglect to the appropriate authorities and your supervisor.
