Home Health Aide Job Description.

• PCA’s and Home Health aides will assist patients with daily activities and while some have additional responsibilities, such as:
• Medication reminders
• Provide morning: Oral / Denture care prior o breakfasts
• Daily Morning and night care.
• Bath or shower clients.
• Assist with meals as needed per client.
• Take vital signs.
• Chart and log client’s activities.
• Turn or reposition patients who are bedridden, or verbally encourage and remind wheelchair bound patients to reposition and give assistance if needed q2hrs.
• Lift patients into beds, wheelchairs, exam tables, etc.
• Be trained in transfer, lifting, gait belt, Hoyer lift, and proper use of medical equipment.
• Clean and sanitize patient areas.
• Change bed sheets.
• Light duty house work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a personal care assistant or similar role preferred
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards clients
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Good communication skills
• Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license

• Valid Drivers License
• CPR
• Background Check & Fingerprints

Shifts Available

• 8hr shifts M-F 6am-2pm
• Biweekly pay $17.00-$18.00 experienced based.
• Paid orientation.
• Annual education paid.
• Holliday Pay.
• Up to 40 hours vacation pay for fulltime employees after 1yr.
