Caregiver – Companion Care & Standby Support (Spanish / English)

About the Role

Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide companionship, standby assistance, and light cooking for a male client. This role focuses on engagement, safety, and comfort, not heavy lifting or clinical tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Standby assistance during mobility (be present and attentive)
• Prepare simple, healthy meals — basic cooking required
• Light household tidying and organization
• Medication reminders (no administration)
• Pleasant conversation, walks, hobbies, board games, or other activities client enjoys
• Create a respectful, calm, and positive environment

Requirements

• English / Spanish required
• Prior caregiving or companion care experience preferred
• Comfortable with simple cooking / meal prep
• Patient, professional, and reliable
• Home Care Aide (HCA) Registration preferred

* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
