Our goal is to help individuals be in more control of their own supports and to have a say in who is assisting them. We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated caregiver who is compassionate, values helping others, and enjoys meaningful connections. The ideal candidate will be dependable, caring, and committed to promoting the individual's independence, well-being, and quality of life. Schedule:* 3 hours per day, twice per week * Wednesday is required * Second day is flexible based on caregiver availability

Compensation

* $17.74 per hour * Mileage reimbursement

Bonus Opportunity - Up to $500

Complete Wisconsin's free Certified Direct Care Professional (CDCP) certification and earn:* $250 bonus upon certification completion * Additional $250 bonus after working with the client for six months

Responsibilities

* Housekeeping assistance, including: * Kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom cleaning * Trash removal * Floor care * Changing bedding * Laundry assistance (on-site in building) * Standby assistance during bathing (no hands-on bathing required) * Meal preparation and assistance with ready-to-heat meals * Bringing in grocery deliveries and putting items away * Running occasional errands, including pharmacy pickups * Transportation to medical appointments in the Dodgeville and Muscoda areas, including assistance with a wheelchair and portable oxygen tank

Requirements

* Valid driver's license * Reliable vehicle and current auto insurance * Ability to pass a criminal background check * Authorization to work in the United States
