Caregiver/Direct Support Professional - Intense Support

We have been in business since 2003, but our team has been collectively serving the needs of individuals and families with developmental disability needs since 1997. Our Residential Habilitation/Supported Living enables adults of all ages with developmental disabilities to live in their own homes while receiving 24-hour supports and services.

About You

The right candidate for this position is somebody that is passionate for helping others, is capable of multi-tasking, and is able to work with limited supervision. While experience is preferred, it is not required, and we will provide training for anyone that has a desire to help people. We have flexible schedules and are hiring for both full and part time.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and guidance for participants during skill-building activities.
• Develop a rapport with participants and cultivate a safe and supportive relationship.
• Responsible for maintaining the health and safety of the participants while attending to their needs throughout the night.
• Ensure a smooth transition of nightly activities and incidents to the morning staff.
• Follow treatment plans for participants created by a supervisor.
• Assist with daily living activities, including preparing meals and assisting with personal hygiene, etc.
• Update participant activity logs on a daily basis.
• Become familiar with formal programs and data collection systems.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Compassionate about the care and well-being of others.
• A high-school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Proof of car insurance.
• Reliable transportation with 2 or more seats other than the driver.
• No previous criminal record/must be able to pass a criminal background check upon hire.
