Caregiver

Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Certified Caregiver to join our team at our assisted living facility. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to residents, assisting with daily activities and ensuring their health, safety, and well-being.

As a Certified Caregiver, you will also be responsible for administering medications, following care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to promote the best possible outcomes for each resident. Responsibilities: * Medication Administration: Deliver medications as outlined in residents’ care plans. * Daily Living Assistance: Help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and eating. * Health Monitoring: Observe and document residents’ health, reporting any changes to the healthcare team. * Personalized Care: Follow individualized care plans to meet each resident’s unique needs. * Emotional Support: Provide companionship and encourage a positive environment. * Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a safe, clean, and hazard-free living environment. * Emergency Response: Act quickly and appropriately in emergency situations. * Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and communicate with families about resident care.

Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent. * Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check. * Valid Arizona Caregiver Certification Certification. * Current CPR and First Aid Certification. * Valid Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card. * Negative TB Test (must be submitted before starting). * Knowledge of medication administration and documentation. * Ability to assist with daily activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility). * Excellent communication skills with residents, families, and team members. * Compassio...
