Whether you're returning to the workforce, exploring a new career, or already have caregiving experience, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Love About Working Here

At Senior Helpers, we know our caregivers are the heart of our business. We strive to create an environment where team members feel respected, encouraged, and appreciated.

Here's what we offer:

  • Starting Pay of $17–$18/Hour: Based on qualifications and experience
  • Scheduling Options: Morning, midday, evening, overnight, and weekend assignments
  • Paid Training: Orientation and practical instruction to prepare you for your role
  • Earned Wage Access: Optional daily pay access through Tapcheck

  • Employee Appreciation: Recognition for the dedication you bring to your clients
  • Accessible Office Support: A local team you can reach when questions or challenges arise

A Day in the Life of a Caregiver

As an in-home caregiver, you'll visit clients in their homes and assist with everyday activities that help them feel comfortable, safe, and supported.

Depending on the client's individual needs, your responsibilities may include:

  • Spending quality time with clients through conversation, hobbies, and companionship
  • Helping with morning and evening routines
  • Providing assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Supporting mobility, repositioning, and safe transfers
  • Preparing simple meals and helping with daily nutrition routines
  • Keeping living spaces tidy through light cleaning and laundry
  • Accompanying clients on errands or to appointments
  • Providing medication reminders as outlined in the care plan
  • Encouraging independence while respecting each client's preferences
  • Reporting observations, documenting visits, and keeping the care team informed

Some assignments involve primarily companionship and household assistance, while others require more hands-on personal care.

Our goal is to match caregivers with clients based on care needs, skills, location, and scheduling availability.

Who We're Hoping to Meet

You might be a great fit if you

  • Enjoy spending time with older adults
  • Have a friendly, patient, and understanding personality
  • Take pride in being dependable and arriving on time
  • Can communicate clearly and professionally
  • Respect personal boundaries and confidentiality
  • Are comfortable providing hands-on assistance when needed
  • Can follow care instructions and communicate changes or concerns
  • Are motivated to learn new skills and contribute to a supportive team

Areas With Caregiving Opportunities

Our clients live throughout Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, and nearby East Valley neighborhoods.

This is a field-based position. Caregivers travel to clients' residences rather than reporting to an office for each shift.

Join a Workplace Where Your Work Matters

There is something special about knowing your presence can make someone's day easier.

For some clients, that means having a friendly face to share a conversation with. For others, it means having the assistance they need to continue living in the comfort of their own home.

At Senior Helpers, you'll become part of a team that values kindness, professionalism, and the important role caregivers play in supporting older adults and their families.
