Job Summary

We are seeking a RELIABLE, caring, energetic, creative and patient Caregiver to provide compassionate support to a female resident in her Woodbury home every other weekend from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. You can also fill in shifts at this home. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life by assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and promoting independence in a warm and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with REMINDERS of daily living (ADLs), including REMINDERS fore bathing, dressing, grooming, and home maintenance.
• Monitor and observe the resident’s health status, including monitoring her mood overall well-being, while adhering to care plans.
• Preparing nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and preferences, ensuring proper food safety standards are maintained
• Support medication administration and ensure compliance with prescribed routines under supervision or as trained.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning and organization of the home.
• Engage the resident in meaningful activities that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being.
• Document observations, care provided, and any changes in health status accurately following HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, spectrum disorders, and mood modulation.
