Caregiver

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient Caregiver to provide quality in-home support to individuals in Brighton. The ideal candidate will be committed to promoting client safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life.

This position is ideal for someone looking for weekend work and who enjoys helping individuals with daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, as assigned.
• Assist clients with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and other authorized homemaker services.
• Provide respite care and supervision according to the client's service plan.
• Support client independence, dignity, privacy, and personal choices.
• Follow individualized care plans and agency procedures.
• Monitor and report changes in the client's condition or safety concerns.
• Complete required documentation and electronic visit verification (EVV), when applicable.
• Communicate professionally with families and the agency supervisor.

Skills

• Previous caregiving or home-care experience preferred.
• Compassionate, reliable, and professional.
• Ability to follow care instructions and maintain client confidentiality.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to complete required background checks and onboarding.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred or required as applicable.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to the client's home.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
