Looking for meaningful work with a consistent schedule? Absolute Home Care Solutions, Inc., a locally owned, veteran-owned home care agency, is seeking a dependable, compassionate caregiver to support a male client living with the effects of a stroke in Mulberry, Florida.

Schedule

A minimum of 4 hours per day, 5 days per week — at least 20 hours weekly.

We’re looking for someone who brings patience, professionalism, and a caring attitude to every visit. Experience assisting stroke survivors and individuals with limited mobility is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities may include, according to the client’s care plan

• Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Safe mobility assistance, transfers, and repositioning.
• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and medication reminders.
• Companionship, encouragement, and attentive support.
• Documenting care and reporting changes to the agency.

Qualifications and documentation

• Current Florida CNA certification or documented HHA training/competency meeting Florida home health agency requirements.
• Eligible Level 2 background screening verified through the AHCA Clearinghouse.
• Current CPR certification.
• Required HIV/AIDS, infection control, and Alzheimer’s/dementia training documentation.
• Required health documentation and completed background-screening attestations, including the agency’s Affidavit of Good Moral Character.
• Ability to complete all required agency orientation, competency checks, and employment paperwork before assignment.
• Reliable transportation to and from the client’s home, dependable attendance, and good communication skills.
