Caregiver/HHA

Comfort Keepers - Kokomo is immediately seeking reliable, honest, and caring individuals. Caregivers will help to provide care to seniors, veterans, and other adults in their home. We service Kokomo, Peru, Amboy, Tipton, Galveston, Russiaville, and Walton. Full-time and part-time hours available! Flexible hours!

WE ARE URGENTLY HIRING FOR ALL LOCATIONS

Responsibilities may include

Assist with activities of daily living by providing any of the Comfort Keepers approved personal care activities such as: bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, oral hygiene, and/or ambulation.

• Provide a clean, safe, and healthy environment for clients and family members
• Assist in meeting nutritional needs by providing meal planning, meal preparation, grocery shopping, dishes, kitchen clean-up, laundry and other light housekeeping
• Respite care, providing relief for family members
• Establish and maintain effective communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workers
• Transportation to and from appointments

*Job requirements:*

*This position requires you to be 18 years of age or older with valid driver's license, reliable transportation, auto insurance, and cell phone. You must have a clean Criminal and Driving report.*

• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must commit to a weekly schedule including every other weekend.
• Must show compassion, empathy, and reliability.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
