Caregiver/Home Care Aide (Part-Time)

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide companionship and meaningful engagement
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding if needed
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with walking, transfers, and mobility
• Escort clients to appointments and errands (when applicable)
• Observe and report changes in client condition
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of caregiving experience preferred (professional or personal caregiving experience will be considered).
• Must have reliable transportation to travel to client homes throughout the Kansas City, Missouri area.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance (if driving clients or traveling between client locations).
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift, transfer, push, or pull up to 50 pounds with proper body mechanics.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and assist clients throughout the shift.
