Job Description

As a caregiver at J.A.P Senior Services LLC, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our senior clients. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Personal Care: Assisting clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

2. Medication Management: Assisting with medication management as prescribed by healthcare professionals and maintaining accurate records of medication intake.

3. Mobility Assistance: Providing support with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure safety and prevent falls.

4. Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences, as well as assisting with feeding if necessary.

5. Companionship: Engaging clients in meaningful conversations, recreational activities, and hobbies to promote social interaction and emotional well-being.

6. Household Tasks: Performing light housekeeping duties such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment.

7. Transportation: Assisting with transportation to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands as needed.

Qualifications

• 1 Year Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred, but not required.
• Compassionate and empathetic demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
