Caregiver

Overview

IHSS ONLY

We are looking for a kind, patient, dependable, and trustworthy caregiver to help care for my grandmother through the IHSS program.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities as needed.
• Help with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene, if needed.
• Provide companionship and ensure her comfort and safety.
• Help with other approved IHSS caregiving tasks.

Qualifications

• Caring, patient, reliable, and respectful.
• Experience caring for seniors is preferred but not required.
• Must already be an IHSS provider
• Must be dependable and treat my grandmother with kindness and dignity.

Location

Vacaville, CA

Schedule

9am-12pm and/or 6pm-7pm *Hours and days are flexible*

*This position is 20 hours per week with the possiblitly of being a full 40 hours a week*

Pay

$18.50 through IHSS payroll

• Are you already enrolled as an IHSS careprovider?
• Currently, IHSS isn't providing enough hours for the care that she needs so the family has had to do spilt shifts. We will be hoping to get the hours increased within the next month or two. Is your schedule flexible enough to do split shifts? (Your answer will NOT automatically disqualify you)
• If you could choose your own ideal work shifts for the week, what would it be?
