Caregiver Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable caregiver to provide support and assistance to clients with daily living activities while ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
• Provide medication reminders and monitor health changes
• Help with mobility, transfers, and light physical activity
• Perform light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and tidying up
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social activities
• Maintain a safe and clean environment
• Communicate regularly with family members or healthcare providers about client needs

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to assist with lifting, mobility, and physical support if needed
• Basic knowledge of caregiving, hygiene, and safety practices
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (if transportation is required)
• Ability to pass background check

Experience

• Previous caregiving, home health aide, or personal care experience preferred
• Experience working with seniors, disabled individuals, or patients with special needs is a plus
• Familiarity with medication reminders, mobility assistance, and daily care routines preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
