Job Summary

Nala Care is looking for dependable, compassionate, and caring individuals to join our team as In-Home Caregivers. Caregivers provide hands-on support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence, safety, dignity, and quality of life.

The ideal candidate is responsible, patient, dependable, and comfortable working independently while providing quality care based on each client's individual needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and personal care as needed.
• Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other personal-care needs.
• Assist with meal preparation and maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
• Provide medication reminders as permitted by the client's care plan.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning as appropriate.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or community activities when required.
• Follow each client's individualized care plan and instructions.
• Monitor and report changes in a client's condition, behavior, or needs.
• Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA and company policies.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, supervisors, and other members of the care team.
• Maintain professional boundaries and treat every client with dignity and respect.
• Perform other duties related to client care as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable and reliable.
• Must demonstrate compassion, patience, and respect for clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Previous caregiving, home health, CNA, personal care, or healthcare experience is preferred but not always required.
• Must be able to pass required background checks and meet company hiring requirements.
• Reliable transportation may be required depending on the position and client assignment.
