Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent preferred * Completion of an accredited Home Health Aide (HHA) training program is an advantage * Active Home Health Aide (HHA) certification or license preferred * Physically capable of performing assigned caregiving duties * Knowledge of proper infection control and safe handling of bodily fluids and hazardous materials * Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities

* Provide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) * Follow established safety procedures while delivering care * Communicate any changes in the client's condition to the supervising nurse * Perform assigned tasks according to the individualized care plan developed by the healthcare team * Accurately document services provided and submit required reports on time * Observe and report changes in the client's physical or emotional condition * Maintain compliance with state regulations governing Home Health Aide services
