Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver (Personal Support Specialist - PSS) to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in various care settings. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area
• Engage clients through social activities, companionship, and communication to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being
• Transport clients as necessary, such as the grocery store and appointments
• Light Housekeeping

Requirements

• Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is preferred
• Ability to perform safe patient lifting practices and manual handling with heavy lifting when necessary
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments is advantageous
• Valid driver’s license for driving responsibilities related to home & community care or client outings
• Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration
