Caregiver

Overview

Currently looking for a reliable and caring individual to care for a female client. The client enjoys walks out in the community and card games. MUST have reliable transportation. As a Caregiver, you will provide essential assistance to individuals in need of support with daily activities and personal care.

Schedule

-Will work 3-4 days a week from 12noon - 4/5pm

(preferably Fri-Mon)

-Potentially more hours if desired

Responsibilities may include but not limited to

- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, and dressing

- Provide medication reminders if needed

- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

- Help clients with mobility issues and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary

- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs

- Support individuals with dementia care or other illnesses

- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment

Requirements

- Prior experience in caregiving or related fields preferred

-CNA preferred

- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and demonstrate empathy

- Proficiency in assisting with ADLs

- Capability to handle physical demands including heavy lifting and assisting with mobility

- Familiarity with social work systems and protocols for providing quality care
