Caregiver (Senior Care)

DESCRIPTION

Purpose Driven Caregiver

Caregivers provide hands-on support to clients in their homes, helping them with daily activities, safety, and comfort. This role follows a detailed care plan for each client and focuses on delivering reliable, respectful, high-quality care.

Qualifications

------------------

• 21+ years old
• At least 6 months of caregiving experience
• Strong English communication skills
• Able to pass all background and reference checks
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with mobility
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift
• Reliable transportation
• Able to travel 15–50 miles each way to client homes in Lakewood, Littleton and Denver
• Willing to attend required in-person trainings/meetings at our Brighton, CO office

What You’ll Do

------------------

• Help with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Support safe mobility and transfers
• Give medication reminders (no medication handling)
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal prep, laundry, and basic safety checks
• Provide companionship, conversation, and meaningful engagement
• Escort clients to appointments or outings as listed in the care plan
• Report any changes in condition to your supervisor or RN
• Protect client privacy (HIPAA)
• Follow infection control and safety procedures
• Complete orientation, annual training, and Nurse Guided Care education

Communication & Documentation

• Follow the care plan
• Complete daily notes and incident reports
• Communicate respectfully with clients, families, and staff
• Notify your supervisor of any schedule or availability changes
