Caregiver

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to provide dedicated support and assistance to individuals of all ages, including children, toddlers, infants, and individuals with disabilities. Duties

• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility for children, toddlers, infants, and individuals with disabilities
• Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development and early childhood education principles
• Provide safe transportation to appointments, school, or activities when needed
• Monitor behavior management strategies to support positive social interactions and emotional health
• Follow mandated reporting laws by documenting concerns related to safety or well-being and reporting them promptly to appropriate authorities
• Administer basic first aid and CPR in emergency situations to ensure safety at all times
• Support participation in youth programs or daycare activities that foster learning and social skills

Qualifications

• Proven experience working with children, including classroom experience, daycare or babysitting roles, or nannying
• Knowledge of childhood development stages and early childhood education best practices
• Certification in CPR and first aid from an accredited organization
• Familiarity with working with individuals with disabilities and implementing inclusive caregiving strategies
• Strong understanding of behavior management techniques suitable for young children and individuals with special needs
• Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive situations
