Caregiver (Weekend)

Overview

Join our dedicated caregiving team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with Developmental Disabilities. As a Caregiver, you will provide compassionate, attentive support to promote safety, development, and well-being. This role offers an opportunity to foster growth, independence, and happiness in a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized care to individuals with disabilities, ensuring their safety and community safety at all times
• Support development through engaging activities that promote learning, social skills, and emotional growth
• Assist with daily routines and reminders as needed.
• Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive conduct and emotional regulation
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by following health guidelines and safety protocols such as first aid procedures
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create tailored care plans that meet each person's unique needs
• Engage in daily activities and provide enrichment to individual lives and well being.

Experience

• Experience working with or caring for individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR.
• OIS-Oregon intervention system. This can be obtained on the job.
• Valid Oregon drivers license.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
