Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking a compassionate, experienced caregiver to provide specialized care for a client in Wooster, Ohio living with Advanced Alzheimer's Disease.

We are looking for an older female caregiver with Alzheimer's and dementia care experience who can provide a calm, reassuring presence and build a strong, trusting relationship with the client. The ideal candidate will have a gentle, patient approach and a personality similar to caregivers who excel in providing soft-spoken, compassionate dementia care.

Schedule

- Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM

- Every Other Saturday: 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed
• Support a client living with Advanced Alzheimer's Disease using dementia-specific caregiving techniques
• Encourage engagement and maintain a calm, structured environment
• Assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and safety supervision
• Monitor for changes in condition and communicate concerns appropriately

Qualifications

• Alzheimer's and dementia care experience required
• Female caregiver preferred
• Patient, calm, and compassionate demeanor
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to pass a background check
