d What You'll Do

As a Certified Home Health Aide, you may assist clients with

Personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Light housekeeping and laundry
Meal preparation
Medication reminders, as permitted by applicable rules and the care plan
Companionship and emotional support
Helping clients maintain comfort, dignity, and independence at home

Your work helps clients remain safe and comfortable in familiar surroundings while providing peace of mind to their families.

Qualifications

To be considered for an HHA position, applicants should have

A valid Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate meeting applicable New Jersey requirements
Required medical documentation and immunization records, or willingness to complete outstanding requirements
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination or an approved exemption, if required for the applicable assignment
Completion of applicable screening requirements, including drug screening or an accepted habituation form, as applicable
A compassionate, dependable, and professional approach to client care

Reliable transportation is preferred for certain assignments but is not necessarily required for every case.
