We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to join our team at Higher Call Nursing Center in Quapaw, Oklahoma. As a CNA at our center, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, enhancing their quality of life, and promoting a positive and respectful environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Assist with daily living activities, such as toileting, incontinence care, and mobility assistance
• Monitor vital signs, report changes to supervisory staff, and provide basic first aid as needed
• Assist with medication administration and other treatment plans under the supervision of licensed nursing staff
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
• Participate in maintaining a safe and clean environment, adhering to infection control policies and procedures

Requirements

• Current CNA certification and registration
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift, transfer, and move residents with the use of proper body mechanics and equipment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and their families
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly
