Certified Nursing Assistant 2-10

Overview

Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) 2-10, where your compassionate care and clinical skills will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Every other weekend is required. You will NOT be considered for employment if you have poor work history.

Duties

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and feeding to promote comfort and independence.
• Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Maintain a safe environment by using proper manual handling techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices.
• Document patient information thoroughly in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
• Provide specialized care for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease, ensuring their safety and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with current licensing in the state of practice.
• Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems like PointClickCare
• Familiarity with medical terminology, physiology, aseptic technique, and infection control protocols.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices; physical stamina is essential.
• Strong communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient service and caregiving responsibilities.
• Positive attitude is a must.
