Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): Immediate Openings

Job Overview

We are hiring compassionate, dependable Certified Nursing Assistants to provide care to clients in their homes. This is a home care position: you will be assigned to one client and will provide one-on-one care in that client's home.

We currently have clients who need care in the following North Carolina counties

• Franklin County
• Wake County
• Chatham County
• Nash County
• Durham County
• Orange County

Services You Will Provide

Your duties will depend on your assigned client's needs and care plan. Some clients need only light housekeeping, while others need more support. Services may include:

• Light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes to keep the home clean and safe
• Preparing meals according to the client's dietary needs
• Medication reminders as directed in the care plan
• Companionship and supervision, including for clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, or developmental disabilities
• Running errands and accompanying the client to appointments and community outings
• Assisting with dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Assisting with toileting and incontinence care
• Helping with mobility, walking, positioning, and safe transfers, including use of a Hoyer lift when needed
• Observing and reporting changes in the client's condition to the supervisor
• Following the client's care plan and documenting the care provided at every visit
• Protecting client privacy in line with HIPAA requirements
• Respecting the client's dignity, preferences, and independence

Requirements

• Active CNA certification and listing on the North Carolina Nurse Aide I Registry
• Live in or available to work in Franklin, Wake, Chatham, Nash, Durham, or Orange County
• Available to start immediately
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Able to pass a background check
• Dependable, punctual, and caring, with good communication skills

Preferred Experience

• Previous CNA work in home care, assisted living, a group home, or a nursing home
• Experience with dementia, Alzheimer's, memory care, or hospice care
• Experience with seniors or individuals with autism or other intellectual or developmental disabilities
• Hands-on experience with Hoyer lifts and safe transfer techniques
• Current CPR
