As a Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do

* Provide compassionate in-home care to seniors and individuals with illnesses, injuries, chronic conditions, and disabilities. * Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, hygiene, feeding, and nutritional support. * Assist with ambulation, transfers, repositioning, and range of motion exercises. * Monitor and report changes in the patient's condition to the supervising nurse. * Check vital signs, monitor intake and output, and document care accurately. * Follow individualized care plans while collaborating with nurses and the healthcare team. * Provide care for patients with complex neurological and mobility conditions, including: + Multiple Sclerosis (MS) + Quadriplegia + Spinal cord injuries + Parkinson's disease + Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) * Assist with bowel programs and other specialized personal care needs while maintaining patient dignity, comfort, and safety. * Safely utilize gait belts, Hoyer lifts, transfer devices such as sliding boards, and proper body m...
