Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Personal Support Aide (PSA)

Job Duties

**We provide private home care to developmentally delayed individuals. **

* Check patients' vital signs

* Observe patients

* Check blood glucose

* Keep careful, accurate medical records

* Help patients with bathing, grooming, using the toilet.

* Help patients get dressed and undressed

* Help patients with movement, such as walking, sitting, and rolling over

* Transfer patients in or out of beds or wheelchairs

* Safely transport patients in beds or wheelchairs

* Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

* Perform clerical duties like scheduling appointments.

* Report problems to supervisor

* Follow all health and safety rules

* Follow patient confidentiality rules

Requirements

Applicant must have at least a High school diploma or equivalent.

Applicant must hold a Regular driving license.

Applicant preferred to hold Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers and Heartsaver First Aid.

Applicant must obtain a 7 year Motor Vehicle Report.

Applicant must have a current TB skin test reading.

Applicant must must have access to the internet to submit same day service documentation.

Education

* High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience

* Working with people with developmental disabilities: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification

* Driver's License (Required)
