Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), PRN

Description

The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for assisting with unit/patient care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Has full access to patient health information. May have access to medication storage areas (excluding controlled substances) as related to job responsibilities.

Shift: PRN

Requirements: * High school graduate or equivalent required unless a current high school student participating in the CATS program for the NC * Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required through American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. * Listed with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation in good standing. * Willingness to obtain CNA 1+4 Skills within 6 months of hire for Endo * Endoscopy experience preferred for Endo

Physical Requirements

• Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
