Candidate Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding, while promoting patient independence.
• Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff promptly.
• Help patients with mobility challenges by assisting with transfers, walking, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort.
• Engage with patients in a respectful and compassionate manner, fostering positive relationships and emotional support.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining equipment and supplies.
• Assist nursing staff with medical procedures and tasks, as outlined in facility policies and regulations.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner in patient records.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of patient care plans.

Requirements

• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
