Job Duties

Patient Care

Provide compassionate care within CNA scope of practice, following state and federal regulations. Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers. Deliver daily care, including bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, and linen changes. Support mobility and comfort through positioning, lifting, and ambulation. Prepare patients for meals, assist with feeding, and distribute snacks and fluids.

Monitoring & Reporting

Obtain and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, blood pressure, intake/output). Observe and report changes in physical or mental condition to supervising nurse. Respond promptly to patient call lights and anticipate needs.

Safety & Compliance

Maintain a clean, safe environment and support a culture of safety. Perform all care in a manner that minimizes risk and prevents errors. Attend required in-service education and department meetings.

Communication & Documentation

Communicate clearly with nurses, management, and medical staff. Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record. Treat patients and families with respect and dignity.

Team Support

Answer telephones professionally and assist with unit operations. Demonstrate flexibility and organization under stressful situations....
