Certified Nursing Assistant CNA

Badland Behavioral Health Clinic is seeking a temp CNA in the Dickinson Area.

Part-Time (20+ hours per week) Monday - Friday

Be part of the solution to the behavioral health crisis. As a team member for ND Department of Health & Human Services, you will ensure the most vulnerable have access to a high-quality healthcare system in which prevention works, treatment is effective, and people recover.

As a CNA you will deliver in person outpatient psychiatric CNA services to individuals in adult & youth/adolescents with mental health and/or substance use diagnoses. Help individuals manage their illness and live meaningful, productive, fulfilling lives. CNA services include but are not limited to:

• Provide client-centered care for people who have a complex psychiatric history. Collect and document external patient-reported medications, supplements, herbals, and over-the-counter products. Obtain vital signs, height and weight when clients present for their scheduled medication review appointments with the psychiatrist.
• Perform functional screening assessments to individuals prior to scheduled medication review appointments.
• The CNA provides client-centered care and assistance to assigned client under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Organizes and prioritizes tasks and projects; accurately completes job responsibilities within the specified time constraints.
• Adheres to ethical, regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
• Respects Client Rights and promotes customer satisfaction.

To be considered for this position you are required to have a high school diploma or GED and an active Certified Nursing Assistant License (CNA). Psychopharmacology knowledge is preferred.
