• 3rd Shift: 10:15 PM – 6:00 AM

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team supporting a state-operated facility under the Department of Human Services (DHS), Office of Developmental Programs (ODP). This role involves providing direct, compassionate care to residents in a structured healthcare setting.

Schedule Details

• Choice of 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) or 3rd shift (10:15 PM – 6:00 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holidays
• No requested time off (RTO) during the first 4 weeks of orientation
• Strict no cell phone policy while on shift

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
• Support residents with feeding, hydration, and nutritional needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
• Follow all facility protocols, care plans, and safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff, residents, and families
• Uphold residents' dignity, privacy, and rights at all times

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Prior CNA experience preferred (Expert-level candidates encouraged to apply)
• Ability to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Comfortable working overnight hours (for 3rd shift applicants)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable work ethic
• Ability to comply with facility policies, including no cell phone use during shift hours
