Responsibilities

* Provide direct patient care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene assistance * Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration * Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper body mechanics and safety protocols * Support patients with meals, feeding, and nutritional intake documentation * Communicate patient status changes and concerns promptly to nursing staff and care team * Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients and residents * Document care activities accurately in accordance with facility and compliance standards

Requirements

* Active and valid CNA certification in the state of New Mexico * Prior experience in a long-term care, assisted living, or clinical setting preferred * Strong understanding of patient care techniques, infection control, and safety procedures * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and staff * Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays * Compassionate, patient-centered attitude with a commitment to dignity and respect * CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
