Job Description

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and proactive Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our ambulatory surgery center. The ideal candidate is attentive to patient needs, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes initiative to help maintain a safe and efficient patient flow.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with changing clothes before and after procedures.
• Assist with connecting patients to monitoring equipment under RN supervision.
• Safely transport and escort patients between pre-op, recovery, and discharge areas.
• Be proactive in anticipating patient needs and coordinating patient movement to minimize delays.
• Assist nursing staff with patient care, room preparation, and maintaining an organized work environment.
• Help maintain accurate patient records and ensure necessary paperwork is organized.
• Monitor patient comfort and promptly report any concerns to the RN.
• Follow all patient safety protocols, including fall prevention and safe patient transfers.
• Work closely with RNs and other staff to maintain smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Active California CNA certification.
• BLS certification.
• Previous healthcare or surgery center experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be reliable, attentive, and willing to take initiative.
• Chinese language, highly preferred.

Pay: From $23.00 per hour
