  • Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety protocols
  • Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory impairments, including engaging in therapeutic activities
  • Use assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques to ensure safe patient transfers and prevent injury
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by following aseptic techniques and infection control procedures in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in acute care settings like ICU, emergency medicine, or long-term care facilities to deliver comprehensive patient care

Skills

  • Proven experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, or individuals with disabilities
