Overview

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you’ll provide hands-on patient care, support daily living activities, and help clients feel safe and respected. Your impact: attentive care and clear communication help clients and families navigate daily needs with dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, meals, mobility, and other activities of daily living.
• Measure and report vital signs; provide catheter care and medication assistance as authorized.
• Use safe patient transfer methods, Hoyer lifts, and manual handling practices.
• Document care accurately in medical records and electronic health record (EHR) systems while maintaining confidentiality under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
• Communicate changes in condition to the appropriate care team and support family caregiver communication.

Requirements

• Current CNA credential as required for the role and basic life support (BLS) or cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) knowledge.
• Patient care or caregiving experience; senior care, home care, long-term care, assisted living, hospice, memory care, or dementia care experience is valuable.
• Ability to follow infection prevention and aseptic technique, protect patient confidentiality, and complete medical documentation.
• Familiarity with anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and electronic medical record (EMR) or EHR systems is preferred; experience with Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks is a plus.
• Experience with children, individuals with disabilities, developmental disabilities, or geriatric patients is welcome; acute, hospital, clinic, or post-acute care experience is also valued.

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
