Nursing Assistant Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in a home care setting. This role involves assisting patients with daily activities, monitoring their health, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

9 am-5 pm Tuesday and Thursday

8 am- 12 noon every other Saturday and Sunday

Duties

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Help patients with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques and equipment.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with facility policies.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times.
• Assist in the preparation of patients for examinations or procedures in various departments such as pediatrics, OR, or urgent care.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety of patient areas while adhering to infection control protocols.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or in a similar healthcare role is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is beneficial.
• Reliability and Passion is a must.
• Must have an in date CPR and TB test

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
