Per Diem Hospice Aide (CNA)

Harborside Hospice is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Per Diem Hospice Aide (CNA) to join our team serving patients in the Brockton and Stoughton areas! This position is initially Per Diem, with the potential for Full-Time employment as the position and patient needs evolve.

Job Responsibilities

Provide personal care to hospice patients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Assist with mobility, positioning, and other activities of daily living as outlined in the patient’s plan of care.

Observe and report changes in patients’ conditions to the appropriate clinical team members.

Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality.

Complete visit documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, families, and the hospice care team.

Qualifications

Current Massachusetts CNA certification.

Previous healthcare experience preferred; hospice or home health experience is a plus.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Compassionate, dependable, and patient-centered approach to care.

Ability to work independently and manage scheduled patient visits.
