Southern Legacy Hospice is seeking a dependable, compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide thoughtful, hands-on care to patients in private homes and care facilities.

Responsibilities

● Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.

● Support patient comfort, cleanliness, safety, and dignity.

● Assist with mobility and transfers according to the care plan.

● Offer a calm, respectful presence to patients and families.

● Observe and promptly report changes to the hospice nurse.

● Complete accurate, timely documentation.

● Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, facility staff, and the hospice team.

● Follow each patient’s care plan and individual needs.

Qualifications

● Current Texas CNA certification.

● Compassion, professionalism, and respect for patients and families.

● Dependability, strong communication, and attention to detail.

● Good time management and reliable transportation.

● Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

● Hospice or home health experience preferred.
