Certified Nursing Assistant I

What We're Looking For: * Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. * Experience:

+ One year preferred. + One year Assisted Living facilities only: experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required. * Licensure/Certification: + Completion of NAI program, required. + Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required. + Medication Safety - AME, required. + NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. * Additional Skills (preferred): Basic computer skills for documentation.

What You'll Do:

The CNA on our 46-bed Medical-Surgical unit provides direct patient care and supports nursing staff in delivering safe, compassionate care. Responsibilities include assisting patients with activities of daily living, obtaining vital signs, monitoring intake/output, maintaining patient hygiene and comfort, and reporting changes in condition to the nursing team. The CNA helps ensure a clean, safe, and supportive environment while promoting patient dignity and recovery.
